Romerike L55 Blue

The Romerike L55 Blue tie is inspired by the blue variant of the Romeriksbunad L55, reflecting the rich heritage of the Romerike region of Akershus. The L55 was developed in 1955 by Borghild Tranum Røer in collaboration with Heimen Husflid in Oslo, and is distinguished from earlier Romerike models by its brocade bodice. The embroidery patterns that define this bunad were inspired by a pair of silk-embroidered bridal shoes from the 1700s, originally from Enebakk. 

The pattern is printed on 100% silk twill fabric for a classic finish.
